BRISTOL STEEL SAFETY INFORMATION

Bristol believes in a proactive approach to Site Safety.

We have been rewarded in this belief with a safety record that is unparalleled within the industry. To achieve reductions in recordable injuries we have implemented several programs that are now being duplicated industry wide. We are very proud of our current EMR of .89, and we continue our efforts to continuously improve.

Thinking outside of the norm when it comes to Fall Protection led Bristol to develop a program that identifies and mitigates risk well before the first Ironworker arrives on site.
We often include fall protection features into the steel that comprises the project. With built-in tie off points, and pre-run safety lines in the web of beams, the risks to our workers is greatly reduced.

For every 90 days each employee working for the organization(s) that have zero safety related incidents receive 15 additional hours of pay.

Ensures that our employees will utilize the best safety performance available to maintain a perfect safety record.

For our steel erection employees, working on a construction site this means: At each construction job site Bristol Steel has pledged:

If at the end of each month there has been zero safety incidents, we will have a prize drawing. The employee’s name drawn will receive a new automatic shotgun or a gift certificate for $400.

If there are zero incidents at the end of our large projects, we will have a drawing for a new ATV-four wheeler.
